Get started with iPRx receiver.

There are two digitized GPS signal records on the book website: D_FLT_ocxo.bin and D_FLT_tcxo.bin. These files have been recorded during a test flight. To process these records with bundled iPRx receiver please follow these steps.

1. Download recorded files to "C:\IRX" folder.

2.Make sure to specify receiver sampling rate and IF settings to the correct values before processing the file.

The correct receiver setting for each file can be set in "C:\IRX\default.rcv" file or in the Configuration tab on the receiver Control Panel.

D_FLT_ocxo.bin file is created by a recorder with OCXO clock. To process this file choose "OCXO||GRM7520" in the Configuration tab or put value 1 in the "Signal_format" line of "C:\IRX\default.rcv" file.
 
D_FLT_tcxo.bin is created by a recorder with TCXO clock.  To process this file choose "GRM8650" in the Configuration tab or put value 2 in the "Signal_format" line of "C:\IRX\default.rcv" file.

3. Start iPRx software receiver program. Open a record file using Open DIF button on the Post-processing tab or specify the file to process in the "C:\IRX\default.ipr" file. 

4. Click on Start button on the iPRx GUI to process selected file.

Get started with signal simulator.

Note: accuracy and speed of DIF signal generator are significantly reduced in academic version.

1. Start DIF Simulator program. 
Check on scenario radio button on the Interface Tab of ReGen main panel. Click on Generate button. The scenario file will be generated.

2. After the scenario generation is completed , click on Generate nav data on the DIF Signal Generator panel. Navigation message file will be generated.

3. After the navigation data generation is completed, check on DIF Signal radio button on the Interface Tab of ReGen main panel. Click on Generate button.

After the signal generation is completed the generated DIF file can be found in the location specified in File name text box on the Interface Tab of ReGen main panel. 

In order to use this file with iPRx receiver, make sure that receiver configuration is set to ReGen sampling rate and IF either in the "C:\IRX\default.rcv" file (value 8) or in the Configuration tab on the receiver Control Panel.
